Ever dreamt about playing in a pro golf event, teeing it up against some of the biggest names in the sport?

Next month’s Aramco Team Series – Sotogrande is offering one amateur golfer based in Europe that opportunity to play in the Ladies European Tour event’s $1million team format at La Reserva in Spain alongside the likes of LPGA superstar sisters Nelly and Jessica Korda, Carlota Ciganda and Bronte Law.

The lucky winning golfer will take the amateur spot in one of the tournament’s 36 teams, giving them the opportunity to play in a professional tournament, in front of fans, where their playing partners will be competing for $1million prize money and vital Race to Costa Del Sol points, live on TV.

From now and up until the week of the ATS — Aramco (August 18-20), VPAR — the world’s No. 1 golf GPS and scoring app — has added a special ‘Aramco Team Series Challenge’ to its app, which golfers are asked to join.

Each round of golf recorded on VPAR leading up to the tournament will automatically register that golfer one entry into the random draw to win a spot in the three-day tournament, the third of five Aramco Team Series events on the LET in 2022.

The more rounds you play, the more entries submitted, increasing your chances of winning, and playing alongside three LET pros in a fourball over the first two days of the event.

Tickets for the Aramco Team Series — Sotogrande are now available from €5, where players including three-time major-winner Anna Nordqvist, Catriona Matthew and Spanish stars Ana Peláez Triviño, Nuria Iturrioz and Carmen Alonso — among many others — will also compete.

This will be the third Aramco Team Series event of the season, following the Series’ Bangkok debut in May and June’s London tournament. Sotogrande will be followed by Aramco Team Series events in New York and Jeddah, all with $1million prize funds, split $500,000 each between their team and individual scoring contests.
