As the second LIV Golf event came to a close in Portland, Oregon, the series announced their newest signing in the shape of seasoned European Tour pro Paul Casey.

The world No. 26 Englishman has signed up and will compete at the LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster as part of team Crushers GC, captained by Bryson DeChambeau. LIV Golf’s third event of the season takes place July 29-31 at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.

A consistent competitor for more than two decades, Casey has won 21 tournaments since turning pro in 2000. In that time, he’s amassed 150 top-10 finishes, including a tie for second at the 2020 PGA Championship and a tie for third at the 139th Open Championship. The golfer has represented Europe in five Ryder Cups and has annually performed amongst the globe’s best, having been ranked as high as No. 3 in the world.

“LIV Golf continues to attract the best players in the sport as it builds increasingly competitive fields with each event,” said Greg Norman, LIV Golf CEO and Commissioner.  “Paul Casey adds to the growing list of top 50 golfers who are excited to be part of an innovative and entertaining format that is creating something new for golf. His proven track record on a global stage adds another exciting piece to the competition as we prepare for Bedminster.”
