Justin Thomas. Andrew Redington

By Christopher Powers
Like most smart men, Justin Thomas is deferring to fiancée Jillian Wisniewski when it comes to planning their upcoming wedding. There is one thing, however, that’s non-negotiable for the 14-time PGA Tour winner.

No phones.

“I have very few things that we ‘had’ to have, but my No. 1 was definitely no phones,” Thomas said on the latest episode of the Be Right podcast. “I don’t want phones, I want people to just live in the moment and enjoy the night, enjoy the weekend. If it’s another golfer or myself or whatever, someone that could potentially be filmed or whatever, I don’t want anybody to feel like they can’t have fun and enjoy themselves because someone’s filming their every move.”

Amen to that. During our entire chat with Thomas, he also talked about his foray into golf course design, how close he is to winning, and he debunked that infamous “topped” shot from the range at Augusta National. Please, have a listen to our full interview with JT below.
