Cameron Tringale will go out last in the final group for the third round of the 2022 Genesis Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick as a host of big names missed the cut.

The American holds a three-stroke lead over Saturday playing partner Gary Woodland, while the likes of Kurt Kitayama, Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick and Rickie Fowler lurk.

Among those who did not make it to the weekend are world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, defending Open champ Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Justin Thomas and Viktor Hovland, with the 150th Open Championship just around the corner at St Andrews.
