The first-round pairings have been released for LIV Golf Chicago, and there are some juicy threesomes to start things off for Friday’s first round at Rich Harvest Farms.

Individual standings leader Dustin Johnson gets the honour on the first tee for the 12.15pm shotgun start (9.15pm UAE). He has been paired with two of the newest signings and his vanquished Boston playoff rivals — Indian No. 1 Anirban Lahiri and Chilean star Joaquin Niemann.

Bedminster champ Henrik Stenson, who returns after missing Boston though vertigo, goes on hole 2 alonside hole-in-one hero Matthew Wolff and Abraham Ancer.

World No. 3 Cameron Smith is in a tasty group with big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau and legend of the game Lee Westwood.
