Last week’s edition of the Thursday Curry Club at Jumeirah Golf Estates saw 48 players, both members and guests, tackle the Fire course in the nine-hole pairs scramble event.

The duo of David Warham and Richie Green clinched victory with a score of net 31, five under par. The pair’s winning scorecard was highlighted with back-to-back net eagles on the challenging par 4 4th hole and lengthy par 5 5th.

It was a one-shot victory from the second-place team of Finlay Galloway and Jamie Snowdon after their net 32, four under par. Pipping Priyanka Parmar and Louis Thorne, via countback, who also delivered a strong performance on the Fire course.

Bradley Webb & Lee Johnston – 19 points
Jamie Snowdon – 18 points
