Jordanian Mousa Shana’ah has claimed the Oman International Golf Tour Round Two at La Vie, Muscat, Oman.

The highest-ranked Jordanian Amateur golfer, who resides in Dubai, claimed the 54-hole tournament despite the testing weather conditions and the challenge from top amateurs competing from countries including Algeria, India, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, UAE and the United Kingdom.

Mousa carded rounds of 75, 75 and 71, and was delighted with his most recent victory; “Despite the challenging weather conditions and fierce competition from the talented players in the field, I was able to find my rhythm and stay focused and steady.

“It was great to come out on top and win in such a good atmosphere. The weather made it tough for sure and tested everyone’s resilience.”

Special mentions must also go to Saudi Arabia’s Khaled Al Qunaibit, who held the lead after 36 holes with rounds of 72 and 76 and to his fellow countryman Ali Al Sakha who shot a final day 71 to finish in a tie for second spot alongside the UAE’s youngest World Amateur Ranked player, Abdulla Kalbat and Richard Fish, who shot the low round of the week on the final day of 68.

A big thanks must also go to the event sponsor Egolf Megastore Oman.
