Filip Mruzek carded a final round four under par 65 to reach 18 under par and win the Interwetten Open by one stroke at Schladming-Dachstein Golf Club in Austria.

Here’s the prize money breakdown for each golfer at the 2026 Interwetten Open

The Czech had only to make par at the par five 18th to claim his maiden HotelPlanner Tour title, finishing one-shot ahead of South African Louis Albertse, who had applied the pressure by making an eagle on the last.

Mruzek is teeing it up on the Road to Mallorca with a full HotelPlanner Tour card for the first time, and his emotions were clear to see after securing his first victory.

“It’s amazing,” he said. “The emotions will kick in later, I guess I’m going to cry in the car, but right now all I feel is joy.

“It was a long journey, seven years playing by invites and finally it’s happened. It’s been a long journey, a lot of pain to do it and finally we got it. I can’t be happier.

“I just stuck to my game. I felt that I could hit the right shots, I’ve been patient, I’m putting well and I made lots of up and downs. It was a really good four days.”

Playing in the final group, Mruzek was tied for the lead making the turn with playing partner Albertse, having missed short putts on the first and fifth holes.

But he made three consecutive birdies from the 11th to the 13th, holing a putt from over 40 feet on 13 to give him a two-stroke cushion.

The 34-year-old then was able to par out to secure the win.

“I didn’t watch the leaderboard until hole 18 because I don’t like to put my head out of the process,” he added. “I looked on 18 to see if I needed to push for birdie or play for par. I just said to myself to play as low as I can.”

Mruzek was able to share the winning moment with his wife and dog, who came running on to the final green after the Czech converted his par putt.

“The dog is our boy. We don’t have a kid, but we have a dog. To win in front of my wife and my dog is a dream come true, there’s nothing better than winning in front of your family.

“I’ve been dreaming about this moment every single day for the last seven years, to be able to win and be there with my family, so it’s perfect.”

Englishmen Ryan Brooks and Bradley Bawden finished in a tie for third behind Mruzek and Albertse at sixteen under par, with Julian Perico rounding out the top five a shot further back. Sweden’s Adam Wallin finished in solo sixth.

The victory means Mruzek moves up to eighth in the Road to Mallorca rankings, moving up 58 places and currently in position to secure a card on the DP World Tour next year. Albertse also moved up 38 spots, into 14th, while the top five remain unchanged, South Africa’s MJ Daffue continuing to lead the way.

The Road to Mallorca now heads to England for the English Open supported by HotelPlanner, taking place at The Vale Golf Club in Worcestershire from June 18-21.
