Dubai-based entrepreneur Rory MacFadyen has realised his ambition to set up a golf fashion brand – with one big difference.
Introducing Reflo, the sportswear company that has sustainability at its core, while delivering top-quality clothing to get you looking good and feeling good while doing your bit to help save the planet.
Reflo aims to be the most sustainable brand in golf, with the sustainability at the heart of every decision the brand makes and products it creates. All Reflo products adhere to the highest level of sustainable accreditation such as GRS and Oeko-Tex 100, while still providing the highest quality, stylish sportswear.
Sustainability without sacrifice
Reflo uses recycled plastic waste in an innovative move to help the planet while offering the highest standard in clothing, and the company aims to recycle the equivalent of five million plastic bottles in the next five years.
In addition to this, Reflo goes one step further, and plants one tree for every product sold, with a vision to plant one million trees over the next five years.

“Reflo was founded to truly provide sustainable options and to disrupt an industry that is full of brands ‘greenwashing’ about sustainability,” said owner and Dubai resident MacFadyen. “Having a small percentage of your product range made using tiny amounts of recycled fabrics does not make you a sustainable brand. Every aspect of our business strives to make a positive imprint with concrete action. We do less but do it better. We won’t release new lines every week. We won’t produce endless samples. There’s nothing fast about our fashion. Everything in our collection is precisely designed, rigorously tested, and crafted to stand the test of time. We created Reflo to help people look good, feel good and do good.
“We have big plans for the brand, we have recently announced partnerships with the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open and the Icons Series. This summer you will see several global partnerships announced that will help drive our growth. The faster the brand can grow, the more positive impact we can have.
“I have been a resident of Dubai for the last nine years, and we hope for the brand to grow in the middle east as well as the rest of the world. The first step in this will be having our product available in the pro shop and JGE in the coming months.”
