The Omega Dubai Creek Men’s Amateur Open has become a staple in the UAE golfing calendar and had its most competitive field ever, with more than half the field acquiring a plus handicap. On Sunday, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club was set up the same as the Dubai Invitational, which made for a tough final round. We were delighted with the fantastic feedback received about the conditions of the course and would like to thank our dedicated greenstaff.

Our Champion, James Nash, finished with scores of 66,72 (-4). Nash was -3 for his final six holes and ended this great stretch of golf with a birdie on his final hole to claim the title by 3 shots over Nathan Seldon, who had scores of 69, 72 (-1). Our 3rd place finisher was Max Burrow with scores of 72,71 (+1). Behind Max in 4th place was Michael McGinley with scores of with scores of 69,74 (+1), followed by Alistair Hess in 5th place with scores of 68,75 (+1).

In our net category, our Champion was Sebastiano Galeppini with scores of 69,75 (+5). Our 2nd place finisher was Miki Mirza with scores of 73,74 (+5), followed by Tariq El Chaib with scores of 74,74 (+6).

Our Day prizes were as follows; Best Gross Day 1 – Emanuele Galeppini (69 -2), Best Gross Day 2 – Sam Mullane (73 +2), Best Net Day 1 – David Gowans (70 -1), Best Net Day 2 – Luigi Galizia (74 +3).

With over 180 entries, we knew the 2024 Omega Dubai Creek Mens Amateur Open was in high demand and we would like to thank all of our competitors for putting on a great show.
