For golf fans, the countdown to the 2023 Masters has reached another intriguing milestone: Less than two weeks to go until the opening round at Augusta National. And Scottie Scheffler looks like he’s in pretty good form to defend his 2022 Masters title after an impressive victory at the Players Championship and advancing to the business end of the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship.

All told, 18 players from LIV have earned spots to date for the Masters out of a total of 104 invitees, a number that includes all living past champions. Winnowing out those who won a green jacket but no longer play in the tournament, the list of competitors who will tee it up is 89. That includes amateur Gordon Sargent (the reigning NCAA champion) and Japan Tour pro Kazuki Higa, who both received special invitations to play in the event in early January; Mateo Fernendez de Oliveira, winner of the 2023 Latin America Amateur Championship in January; and Chris Kirk, who’ll play for the fourth time after earning his way back into the field with a win at the Honda Classic and Taylor Moore, a rookie winner at the Valspar Championship.

That number also now includes four additions from the Official World Golf Ranking top 50 as of this coming Monday who hadn’t previously earned an invitation yet to Augusta: Jason Day, Harris English, Min Woo Lee and Keith Mitchell. The only remaining chance for a player to now qualify who hasn’t already done so is if he wins this week’s Valero Texas Open.

Below is the unofficial list of players who have currently earned invitations.
