5.06pm
Most of the players are in — and most look ready for a cool shower. Brooks is delighted to be top of the leaderboard once again, and will be raring to go once again tomorrow!

4.30pm
Home straight now and Brooks has the save of the day. Tee to scrub, scrub to bunker bunker to green and a monster putt saves par to stay three clear.

3.55pm
Brooks goes big again to get to eight-under. Three-stroke lead now with four to play. His Smash team are also in the lead by two from Fireballs and Niblicks.

3.30pm
Dustin Johnson’s yo-yo round continues as he birdies back-to-back to eradicate that nasty double bogey! But now it is Chase Koepka’s turn to hurt as a five on the par-3 eighth hole drops him back to three-under. Jediah Morgan now leading the chase of Brooks (-7) on five-under.

3.10pm
Brooks opens up a two-shot gap at the top at seven-under, with his brother still ‘Chaseing’ on five-under after 11 holes.

2.40pm
Brooks’ brother Chase also moves up to four-under. A little sibling rivalry? Meanwhile, this is a sore one for DJ.

2.20pm
Plenty going on as Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen share top spot on five-under after eight holes., with Leishman, Ortiz and Reed making up the top five — all five represent different teams!

12.20pm
We are away. The fans were gathered at the first tee to see Patrick Reed, Dustin Johnson and Branden Grace tee off.
