David Puig finished third in Morocco last week. Asian Tour

LIV Golf will once again have a healthy presence on the Asian Tour’s latest International Series event in Cairo.

The tour’s first-ever visit to Egypt will see the likes of Shergo Al Kurdi, James Piot, Turk Pettit, Chase Koepka, Scott Vincent, Bernd Wiesberger and David Puig join fellow ‘LIV-ers’ Sadom Kaewkanjana, Phachara Khongwatmai and Sihwan Kim in the 120-strong field for the $1.5 million event.

Saudi Arabia trio Othman Almulla, Faisal Salhab  and Saud Al Sharif, plus Dubai-based MG Keyser, are also in the field.

Following the International Series Morocco, which was won by Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond, the tour stays in North Africa for the event at Madinaty Golf Club in Cairo, with only two more competitions remaining in the 2022 season — the Bangabandhu Cup Golf Bangladesh Open and Indonesian Masters, which is part of the International Series.
