The Ladies European Tour returns to the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club this week for the historic Aramco Saudi Ladies International.

It is the seventh tournament to be held at Royal Greens on the LET and there has been a five-fold increase in the purse from $1 million to $5 million, which sees parity with the men’s PIF Saudi International.

This week 120 players from 30 countries will do battle in the 72-hole stroke play competition with a cut to top 60 professionals and ties after 36 holes.

All three defending champions are in attendance this week with Georgia Hall (2022), Lydia Ko (2021) and Emily Kristine Pedersen (2020) teeing it up.

The 2023 Race to Costa del Sol leader Aditi Ashok is playing this week as are Czechia’s Jana Melichova and Austria’s Sara Schober — who secured their spots by finishing in the top 10 at last week’s Lalla Meryem Cup.

Sweden’s Linn Grant, the 2022 Race champion, heads into this week off the back of her second-place finish last week.

Grant is joined by 2021 Race winner and world No. 4 Atthaya Thitikul, who finished as runner-up in this tournament in 2021.

Major champions aplenty will also be teeing it up this week with 11 players having won 16 between them including Anna Nordqvist, Ashleigh Buhai and In-gee Chun.
