On Sunday the 28th of January Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club hosted the country’s best junior golfers in its 14th SGSC Junior Open.

Junior Golfers from all across the UAE and as far afield as the Republic of South Korea, descended and battled it out to be this years SGSC Junior Open Champion.

Both boys and girls varying from seven to seventeen, put their skills to the test at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club.

Topping the leaderboard at the end of the day was Jamie Camero, who blew the field away with a sensational gross score of 69, three under par. Jamie’s round included four birdies and just the one dropped shot, perfect preparation prior to jetting off to compete in the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship at Siam Country Club in Thailand.

Jamie was delighted to be crowned the 14th SGSC Junior Open Champion in what has been a great few weeks for her at SGSC as she took home the Ladies Open title just two weeks ago.
