After a week off following the Evian Championship, the LPGA remained in Europe for two more weeks, starting at the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open and ending next week at the AIG Women’s British Open.
Jenny Shin collected her second LPGA title, but first in more than a decade, holding on with a shaky final-round 75 that was good enough to top A Lim Kim by two shots. The 33-year-old from South Korea last won the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout in 2016. For this Scottish Open victory, she collected $300,000 from the overall $2 million purse. World No. 1 Nelly Korda tied for 19th place. Defending champion Lottie Woad tied for 37th place.

Shin first burst onto the golf stage 20 years ago when she won the U.S. Girls Junior at only age 13. She turned professional four years later, won on the Futures Tour and earned an LPGA card, where she’s been now for 15 years.
Next up is the Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham and St. Annes in England. The Solheim Cup is in the Netherlands in early September, meaning the week is critical for the race to automatic selections on both the U.S. and European squads.
