The HotelPlanner Tour returned to action for the 5th edition of the Challenge de Cadiz, with an increased prize fund to 300,000 euros.
In the 11th event on the 2025 Road to Mallorca, the HotelPlanner Tour set its sights on the Seve Ballesteros-designed Iberostar Real Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri in Cádiz, Spain.
The Challenge de Cádiz has seen some standout moments since it began in 2020.
2020: Pep Angles won his first HotelPlanner Tour title at home in Spain, finishing 14 under par to win by one shot. He later earned his DP World Tour card.
2021: Kristof Ulenaers shocked everyone by winning by five strokes in his first pro event, leading every round.
2023: Sam Hutsby won a dramatic six-man play-off, claiming his first Tour title in over eight years.
2024: Jonathan Gøth-Rasmussen held his nerve to win and follow in his father Jacob Rasmussen’s footsteps, who also won in Spain back in 1993.
In this year’s edition, Rocco Repetto Taylor delighted the home crowd by securing his first HotelPlanner Tour title on just his second appearance with a one-shot victory at the Challenge de Cadiz.
