The Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) recently hosted the 2024–2025 Order of Merit Championship at Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club, where more than 60 amateur golfers competed across four divisions to determine the top players in the United Arab Emirates.
BREAKING: The 2025 Dubai Golf Trophy teams announced
It was a record-breaking season for UAE golf, as clubs in collaboration with the EGF hosted over 30 Order of Merit events. Eleven of these were listed as World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) competitions, including events within the Faldo Series, the Robert Rock Junior Invitational, and the Tommy Fleetwood AJGA International Series presented by DP World.
Through these events, the EGF created qualification pathways and extended invitations that gave six players the opportunity to compete on the HotelPlanner Tour and 18 players a chance to play on the Clutch Pro Tour. Additionally, the EGF introduced 11 Mixed Gender Championships, allowing male and female players to compete on the same course.
The winners of the EGF Order of Merit season will receive invitations to the Clutch Pro Tour Grand Final in October at Al Hamra Golf Club. During the awards ceremony, the EGF presented 18 trophies, recognising both the top performers from the weekend’s Championship and the overall 2024–2025 Order of Merit season.

The Emirates Golf Federation would like to thank eGolf Megastore for their support throughout the 2024–2025 season. The EGF also recognises the contributions of UAE golf clubs and their members; without these partnerships and the dedication of players, the season’s success would not have been possible.
As the EGF season draws to a close, they wish the very best of luck to all amateurs and professionals competing in the upcoming Dubai Golf Trophy on 11th and 12th May.
