VIDEO: Dubai Creek proves a low-scoring stopover on the XCGC’s ‘Road to Earth’

The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge is three rounds into its 19th season and if the reaction from the leading players at the most recent qualifier is any indication, the game’s favourite corporate networking event is clearly going from strength to strength.

Join us for our round three video review from the iconic Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club where the “Golf Tigers” Ashok Sindhu and Suresh Shewakramani scored a two-stroke victory courtesy of some incredible scrambling en-route to an eight under 63 (net).

Graeme Doy and Steve Ramsden (Toon Army), Chris Darnley and Andrew Smolak (Divot Mix) and Bayer Khan and Qais Qureshi (Mashreq) also qualified for December’s final on Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth course with scores of 65, 68 and 69 respectively in the betterball strokeplay format.

Xerox Emirates General Manager Chris Govier is flanked by champions Ashok Sindhu (left) and Suresh Shewakramani who won the Creek qualifier with a eight under par net round of 63.

In a commendable innovation this season, the XCGC organisers have added a gross division where the leading team from each qualifier will also play in December’s grand finale.

Creek members Michael Nielsen and Edoardo Galeppini qualified for the City Tower Real Estate Club last week after signing for a two-under 69.
