This is your one-week warning until the world’s best players touch down at Emirates Golf Club, for the 35th edition of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Top Tour Players
The opening Rolex Series event on the DP World Tour season will see Rory McIlroy, headline the field as the three-time winner will be joined by reigning Open Champion Brain Harman, Dubai residents Tommy Fleetwood, European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald, Rolex Series winner Ryan Fox and Major Champions Padráig Harrington, Francesco Molinari and Adam Scott alongside many more stars.

Action spots
You can see all of the player’s warmup (or down after their round) while you kick back at the Grey Goose Bar and viewing terrace at the driving range. There are numerous grandstands also dotted around the course; the 1st tee, 15th green, 18th green, while not forgetting the Top Golf Deck at the back of the 16th green. An addition to this year is the public bar and viewing terrace at the back of the 14th green where you will be able to get a view of the 6th tee, 12th tee, 14th green and 18th tee.

Food and beverage options
With over 25 food and beverage locations, fans can experience some of Dubai’s favourite dishes during their stroll around the course, or visit the city’s most popular food trucks in the tournament town.

Family first
It’s not all purely about the golf. There’s something for everyone, from a 360-degree video booth for all, to face painting, musical performances, workshops,  and a special rave for kids by FamilyBeatz on Friday afternoon. Visitors can look forward to a wider variety of options off the course than ever before.

Retro-Vintage Fancy Dress
Also new for 2024, organisers have confirmed the Retro-Vintage dress code for tournament weekend, inspired by the history of the event and iconic looks from the 1940s through to the 1990s. Enter the Best Dressed competition on Saturday 20th January for a chance to win BIG prizes, including hospitality tickets worth over AED5,000, concert tickets and lots more.

Sustainability Corner
With the Hero Dubai Desert Classic becoming the first golf event in the Middle East to achieve GEO Certified® Tournament status. Tournament Town this year has its own sustainability corner, with activities for all ages focusing on sustainability practices and education.

Dance the night away
Oh yes! There will be live musical performances every day from 6 pm until late during the event. Featuring music across various eras, the one-of-a-kind fan ambience promises an unforgettable experience for all golf fans.

What is the best way to travel there?
Fans are encouraged to use the Metro service to travel to and from the tournament, with Al Khail station located literally outside the club’s main entrance.
If you need to drive there will be a parking fee of AED50 which will go towards planting Mangrove Trees in Dubai.

How to get a ticket?
Limited FREE tickets are still available, all you have to do is register and download the new app this year which is available on the App Store and Google Play. You need to download the app to retrieve your tickets.
