The Grand Final of the Golf Sixes League, Abu Dhabi, took place at Yas Acres Golf & Country Club this past weekend, as novice juniors from golf clubs across Abu Dhabi were joined by those from the Emirates Golf Federation.
The Golf Sixes League is a development initiative originally introduced and supported by The R&A but now managed by the Emirates Golf Federation. It introduces young people to golf in a fun and inclusive environment, with an added competitive element. The format features seven squads of 12 players, who rotate a team of six during each round, competing in a two-ball Texas Scramble stroke play format across six holes. The best two scores of the three pairs count towards the team score.
After four rounds of fun competition, Yas Acres Golf & Country Club were crowned champions of the 2025 Golf Sixes League as they also topped round four.
