Tiger Woods is among the names listed in the field for the Seminole Pro-Member.

The event, annually held the day after the Cognizant Classic, is a chance for members of the prestigious Florida club to hobnob with PGA Tour players at one of the best courses in the country. Among those playing in this year’s tournament are Woods, Rory McIlroy (whose dad belongs to Seminole), Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and Adam Scott. This is Woods’ second straight year playing the friendly competition, and again will be paired with former PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh.

Woods is not playing at this week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, which he’s won eight times, but there remains a chance the 15-time major winner returns for the following week’s Players Championship. Earlier this month Woods announced his intentions to make his 2025 debut at the relocated Genesis Invitational, only to drop out three days later, citing his recent mom’s passing and that he wasn’t ready to return. He has not made an official PGA Tour start since playing in the Open Championship last July.

While Woods has made recent appearances in his TGL indoor simulator league and December’s parent-child PNC Championship, his competitive schedule has been severely limited by ongoing health issues. Woods missed his own Hero World Challenge in December while recovering from his sixth documented back surgery—his first such procedure since 2021. This latest operation followed a challenging 2023 season where Woods was largely sidelined after undergoing a subtalar fusion to address post-traumatic arthritis in his right foot, stemming from injuries sustained in his 2021 car accident. Since his historic 2019 Masters victory, Woods has struggled to recapture his form, failing to crack the top 20 in any major championship. His 2024 campaign was particularly trying, with three missed cuts and a withdrawal in five starts. Tournament completions have become increasingly rare—Woods has played all four rounds of an official event just three times in the past four seasons, limiting his appearances primarily to majors, the Genesis Invitational, and unofficial events.

If Woods doesn’t play the Players, his next expected start would be at Augusta National. The Masters begins April 10. More recently, Woods was seen at the White House two weeks ago, as he helps the PGA Tour negotiate a potential deal with LIV Golf’s financial backer, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, to unify professional golf. Woods is also scheduled to make a TGL appearance on Tuesday.
