How far would you go to save your home course from becoming more generic condos or another Amazon warehouse? Would you bribe your local politicians? Would you chain yourself to the big oak off nine? Would you even try to buy it yourself?

Well, one golfer is trying to do exactly that, turning to Reddit for help purchasing their stunning home track in Idaho, which just hit the market for a cool $18.5 million.

My home golf course is for sale. Anyone wanna help me buy it?

We’re like 92 percent sure Reasonable-Tutor-943 is joking. After all, it wouldn’t be very reasonable to buy a remote golf course for nine times more than it was allegedly listed for in 2020. Still, they have a point when they write, “If we all pitch in, it’s only $14.23 each! We can do it!”

$14.23 to keep this Snake River-adjacent beauty alive and well seems like a small price to pay. Hell, it’s less than lunch at Chipotle, especially if you’re adding guac.
