Tommy Fleetwood’s long-awaited first PGA Tour win was celebrated far and wide by fans and peers alike. But one of the latter provided the funniest reaction after Fleetwood left him in the winless club.

Like Fleetwood, Ben An has tasted victory away from the PGA Tour. The South Korean native is the youngest ever winner of the U.S. Amateur and he has two DP World Tour titles to his credit. But also like Fleetwood, he’s never quite crossed the finish line in first on the PGA Tour. Well, at least, he was like Fleetwood in that regard until this past weekend.

An, a terrific Twitter follow, was asked about possibly holding the unofficial title as the best player on tour without a win earlier in the week. And he responded with this amusing analogy.

“So happy for him. It’s like seeing your best friend get married but you are still single,” An tweeted adding a laughing emoji.

Well played, Ben. And an An win would be pretty popular as well.

Here’s hoping Ben gets hitched (to a PGA Tour trophy) soon as well.
