It’s been a summer to remember for Robert MacIntyre. The details just might be a bit hazy.

Last month, MacIntyre claimed the RBC Canadian Open with his dad on the bag. Then flew home to Scotland to celebrate with friends and family instead of playing in the Memorial. After winning the Genesis Scottish Open on Sunday, he obviously won’t be skipping this week’s Open Championship.

But don’t worry. The 27-year-old lefty still planned on having a proper victory party after claiming the one tournament he’s dreamed of winning since he was a kid.

So much so that MacIntyre revealed he might have to postpone his scheduled Monday afternoon press conference. The reason? He’d still be too drunk to get to Royal Troon. Live it up, Bob!

“I think there might be a change of schedule,” MacIntyre told reporters at the Scottish Open. “I don’t think I’ll be in a fit state to get to Troon. I don’t think I’ll be legally able to drive.”

Hey, better safe than sorry. And if you plan on betting on Bob at the Open, you might want to adhere to that strategy as well. Just saying.
