Tarps off. Bet paid off.

When Alison Lee holed out a shot two weeks ago at the Solheim Cup her caddie and partner Megan Khang’s caddie both took their shirts off in the middle of the fairway. The group had a bet to start the match that if any player holed out a shot the caddies, Jack Fulghum and Taylor Takada, would disrobe.

Max Homa was watching the match on television and weighed in by writing, “Tarps off!!! Let’s go @solheimcupUSA.” But his buddy Kevin Kisner added to the discussion, saying that if Homa accomplished a similar feat at the Presidents Cup that Kisner, an assistant captain for the Americans, would take off his shirt.

“I’ll do this in Montreal if you hoop one! Book it,” Kisner responded.

Well, Homa holed a wedge shot from 102 yards on the first hole Sunday at Royal Montreal for an eagle in his match against Mackenzie Hughes. Homa’s reaction at the time was understated, but he went on to win 2 and 1 in the final match on the course. The Americans easily won, 18½-11½ to win for the 10th straight time.

So it was up to Kisner to pay off his bet. He was asked about it several times on television and always hinted that he has something in store.

During a celebration, Kisner pulled off his hat, his sunglasses, then his shirt and found Homa, yelling, “way to go Max.” The two had a funny moment, hugged it out and that was it.

“Why was the first thing that touched me your belly button,” a slightly grossed-out Homa is heard saying.
