Murray is withdrawing from this week’s event after taking a COVID-19 test and returning a positive result.

Grayson Murray appears to be the latest PGA Tour pro to test positive for COVID-19. The 26-year-old from Raleigh, N.C., announced the news via his Instagram account on Sunday evening.

Murray had been listed over the weekend as being in the field for this week’s 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minn. He is the seventh PGA Tour pro known to test positive.

Since the tour’s restart in June, Murray has played in three tournaments. He has missed the cut twice and with from the third event due to a lower-back issue. The 2017 Barbasol Championship winner is currently 169th on the FedEx Cup points list with five events remaining in the 2019-’20 regular season.
