The recent Abu Dhabi HSBC Champion, Paul Waring, has confirmed that he will be playing in the Ras Al Khaimah Championship at Al Hamra Golf Club in January.
At the recent Al Noor & 100 World Legends Golf Day at Arabian Ranches Golf Club, the new PGA Tour card holder confirmed to Golf Digest Middle East that he will play in the three opening DP World Tour events in the Middle East at the start of 2025.

Having already been selected for Justin Rose’s GB&I squad in the Team Cup at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in January, the Dubai-based pro confirmed that he will then compete in the $9 million Rolex Series event at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, followed by the Ras Al Khaimah Championship to complete his three-week stint in January before heading stateside.
With Al Hamra Golf Club having hosted both the DP World Tour’s Ras Al Khaimah Championship and the Ras Al Khaimah Classic over the past couple of years, Waring has only competed once at the Peter Harradine venue 12 months ago, when he finished in a tie for 47th place.
Waring now heads down to Sun City and the Gary Player Country Club in South Africa to compete in “Africa’s Major”, alongside PGA Tour stars Max Homa, Will Zalatoris, Corey Conners, and a host of top DP World Tour players in the limited-field event, which has a $6 million prize pool.
