Reed announced on Wednesday, Jan. 28, he was not going to re-sign with the LIV Golf League, instead choosing to return to the PGA Tour as a past champion member for the 2027 season. He is therefore playing the remainder of the 2026 season on the DP World Tour in the hope of finding a pathway back stateside, along with a new hat sponsor.

In a video posted to DP World Tour’s social channels, Captain America is seen wearing a $400 Moncler baseball cap at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship at the Royal Golf Club, Bahrain.

In 2015, Reed signed an apparel deal with Callaway, which ran through the end of 2017. He then joined Nike’s elite roster in January 2018 alongside Woods, McIlroy and Brooks Koepka. That partnership ended in 2020, leaving Reed without a formal apparel sponsor.

Over the next few years, Reed wore a mix of G/Fore clothing and Titleist caps, though neither arrangement was officially announced. In March 2021, Castore signed Reed as its first golf ambassador.

By March 2023, his LIV team, the 4Aces, replaced LIV branding on the front of his cap, a look he maintained through his final event as a LIV Golf member at last week’s 37th Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
