The 36th edition of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic is set to be a landmark event, featuring a stellar lineup of golf superstars. Defending champion Rory McIlroy, aiming for a record fifth Dallah Trophy, will be joined by European Ryder Cup star Tommy Fleetwood and double Major champion Jon Rahm, who will be making his tournament debut.
Beyond the world-class golf, attendees can look forward to enhanced spectator and F&B experiences such as “The Social on Sixteen” and family-friendly entertainment with the FamilyBeatz mini-festival, ensuring a memorable experience for all.
Star-Studded Lineup:
Dubai resident Fleetwood and ten-time DP World Tour winner Rahm, will join defending champion McIlroy at the Emirates Golf Club from January 16-19, 2025.
Rahm, making his debut at the event, aims to add to his impressive record in Dubai, having previously won the DP World Tour Championship in 2017, 2019, and 2022 at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Additionally, players Akshay Bhatia, Tyrrell Hatton, Adam Scott, and Robert MacIntyre, announced on December 10th, will further elevate the tournament’s stellar field.

On Friday, January 17, 2025, within Tournament Town to celebrate Family Friday, there will be Dubai’s first family-friendly rave – FamilyBeatz – will take place at the iconic Emirates Golf Club between 3 pm and 6 pm.
This family-friendly event with fun competitions, special DJs, bubbles and lots more, provides a fun, safe and inclusive environment for families to enjoy music and a fun afternoon after they finish school, with a focus on entertaining children under 8, though all ages are welcome.
