Ahmed Al Wahaibi has secured his second World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) title at Ghala Golf Club in Muscat, Oman.
With rounds of 73, 77 and 76, the Omani National Team player claimed his second victory in a WAGR event and recorded his fourth top-10 finish.
This achievement has moved him further up the WAGR and represents a proud moment for Omani golf and the Oman Golf Association.

The WAGR is delivered by The R&A and the USGA as a global service to elite amateur players.
The R&A’s longstanding support of the Oman Golf Association has been instrumental in creating opportunities for many women, girls and junior golfers to experience the game and its benefits for the first time.
Last year, Neal Graham, The R&A’s Development Manager for the Middle East and India, met with the Oman Golf Association Board to outline key development objectives. These focused on making golf more accessible, appealing and inclusive, while maintaining the traditions of the game and breaking down barriers to progress.
The discussion also addressed how these objectives align with the strategy of the Oman Golf Association and, in turn, support the broader national vision of Oman 2040.
