Oman is set to host the next edition of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Golf Championship, continuing the tournament’s legacy of promoting the sport across the region.

During the closing ceremony of the 2025 GCC Golf Championship, it was officially announced that Oman will host the next edition of the tournament. The championship flag was handed over to the Omani delegation, marking the countdown to the much-anticipated event.

The upcoming edition is expected to further enhance the development of golf in the region, with Oman preparing to deliver a remarkable tournament that reflects the sport’s continued growth across the Gulf.

At the championship’s closing ceremony, Noah Alireza, CEO of the Saudi Golf Federation, emphasised the significance of the event in the ongoing development of golf across the GCC.
