Nick Dunlap is the latest player to sign a one-match contract with TGL.

The reigning PGA Tour Rookie of the Year will join the Atlanta Drive for Tuesday’s match against Jupiter Links on ESPN. Though the PGA Tour has started its Florida swing, both Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay are unavailable next week, leaving just Lucas Glover and Billy Horschel on the team.

Dunlap, 20, became the first player since Phil Mickelson in 1991 to win a PGA Tour event as an amateur when he captured the title at The American Express in January 2024. The then-reigning U.S. Amateur champ turned pro out of the University of Alabama the following week, and after a few rough months assimilating to the professional ranks, Dunlap won again in July, taking the title at the Barracuda Championship. It was the first time in PGA Tour history that a player won as an amateur and professional in the same year. He is currently No. 31 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

“The excitement around the league has been awesome to follow, from the fan support to the feedback out on tour,” Dunlap said in a statement. “The energy in the SoFi Center is incredible, and I am excited for the opportunity to tee it up alongside Billy and Lucas.”

Last week, Tony Finau signed a one-match contract after the LA Golf Club needed an alternate player.

The news comes as TGL scored its lowest TV primetime ratings of its inaugural season, with just 384,000 viewers for a match between Jupiter Links and the Bay Club. Next week is the final regular-season dates for the simulator league.
