LPGA Tour star Nelly Korda delivered the news on social media on Friday—she’s engaged.
Korda, 27, shared photos on Instagram of she and fiancé Casey Gunderson. The first photo is of the couple and a newspaper with the headline “We’re Getting Married!” And among those in a collage are one with their dog and another in the water at the beach.
The Bradenton, Fla., native had well wishes from many superstars, including LeBron James and Caitlin Clark, in addition to many from the golf world, including Michelle Wie West, Rose Zhang, Andrea Lee, Lauren Coughlin and Morgan Pressel.
Korda’s sister, Jessica, who is married with a son, posted: “Sorry boys, she’s off the market.”
Nelly Korda had yet to post anything with her fiancé on social media, but the LPGA Tour confirmed he is Gunderson.
Korda, the World No. 2, just completed a season in which she didn’t win, but posted nine top-10 finishes.
