Death, taxes, and Michael Block holing out from Downtown, USA.

First it was his epic ace at the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill. Then, this past Fall, he bagged another hole-in-one during a 100-hole hike at Pebble Beach, albeit on a par-3 course (video proof!). Two months prior to that, he claimed he made his NINTH ever albatross (no video proof, except for him writing it on the scorecard and pissing everyone off). He is a hole-out addict.

On Tuesday at the PGA Professional Championship, Blockie did the damn thing again, knocking one in from the fairway for an eagle two at the par-4 11th at Fields Ranch East. Video proof? You betcha.

What can you even say anymore? The guy is a showman of the highest order. The Showman’s Showman. Other great showman literally line up to buy tickets to the Blockie Show. The guy was already Jordan-shrugging and high-fiveing everybody, walking scorer included, before the ball even went in the hole. His flair for the dramatic is truly a gift.

This hole out was, not surprisingly, super clutch, too. Block had just double-bogeyed the 10th hole and promptly got both shots back when this one went in. His third-round, one-over 73 actually jumped him 24 spots on the leader board on a tough day in Frisco, Texas. He’s currently T-20 heading into the the final round, though his place in this month’s PGA Championship at Valhalla is already secure based off his T-15 finish in last year’s PGA. Don’t fear, Blockie fans, there is more show to come.
