The MENA Golf Tour has announced its return to the Middle East and GCC region, starting in 2025.
Backed by Arena Group and a private investor, the MENA Golf Tour, which originally ran from 2011 to 2024, will relaunch with a 12-event season.
The season will commence in Portugal later this year, followed by a Qualifying School in November designed specifically for non-exempt players.
Established in 2011, the MENA Golf Tour remains the only Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) recognised circuit headquartered in the Middle East, providing opportunities for professional golfers from the region and around the globe.

LIV Golf Invitational Jeddah 2022
In 2022, the MENA Tour announced a strategic alliance with LIV Golf and its Invitational events, becoming part of and sanctioned by the MENA Tour. The alliance allowed LIV Golf members to earn OWGR points. Two events followed, one in Thailand and one in Jeddah, where Brooks Koepka claimed victory.

Former DP World Tour Chief Operating Officer and Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) board member Keith Waters has been appointed Chairman and Commissioner of the MENA Golf Tour.
Each tournament in the 2025/26 season will have a $100,000 prize fund and be contested over 54 holes, with a 36-hole cut to the top 60 players and ties. The winner will receive $18,000.

The MENA Golf Tour is also in discussions with both the DP World Tour and the HotelPlanner Tour to establish a pathway that would give leading MENA Golf Tour players the opportunity to advance directly to DP World Tour Qualifying School and the HotelPlanner Tour.
