Augusta National may have outdone itself. Again.

The home of the Masters released a tournament coverage overview on Monday, detailing precisely what they’ll offer across all their respective platforms next week during the 89th playing of the tournament.

The release is 14 paragraphs. It has everything you can imagine—from television times, to radio hours, to streaming opportunities, with every hole, every group and my group functionality. It’s what you’ve come to expect from those wearing green jackets.

Then, buried in the ninth paragraph is this little beauty, which should make golf geeks across the world giddy.

In addition to the live-viewing experience, Masters digital platforms have expanded the Track feature to include the driving range at the Tournament Practice Area. Beginning on Monday, April 7, users will have access to live and recorded data on every single shot from each player during their range sessions throughout the 2025 Masters. Details will include distance, carry, speed, hang time, height, curve and wind. Each individual shot will deliver a 3D tracing, and a full scatterplot for every player will be available from each day of their range sessions.

Read it again, slowly if you’d like.

Every single shot that a player hits during the week will be tracked. Every one. From Monday through Sunday no matter where that shot is hit.

Say Rory McIlroy has the lead Saturday night but wants to iron out a couple things before heading to his rented house. You can monitor every shot he hits.

Want to count how many shots Fred Couples hits before each round? No problem.

You’re a big Tom Hoge fan and want to go down a rabbit hole and chart every shot he hits Tuesday on the range before and after his practice round? Have at it.

Matthieu Pavon relatives back in France can feel like they are with him every step of the way.

At any rate, it’s a neat new feature that makes the Masters the Masters. And now there will be no guesswork involved regarding any shot a player hits at any point on the Augusta National grounds for all seven days.
