The 54-hole event, part of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, saw 64 junior golfers from around the world, aged 18 and under, compete. The first two rounds were played on the Faldo Course under lights, with the top 30 advancing to the Majlis Course for the final round.
Klein’s victory was built on rounds of 69 and 63 on the Faldo Course, with a final 69 on the Majlis. Norway’s Daniel Nilsson finished runner-up with a 7-under total of 209, while India’s Pritish Karayat took third with a level-par 216.
The winners were presented their trophies by DP World Tour’s Richie Ramsay, Simon Corkill (Executive Tournament Director of Hero Dubai Desert Classic), and Walid Al Attar from the Emirates Golf Federation. Klein, who started playing at five years old, expressed his joy and set his sights on joining the Junior Ryder Cup team.
In addition to the trophy, Klein earned WAGR® points, a Callaway Tour Custom Fit Experience, and invites to several prestigious junior events, including the Faldo Series Grand Final and the Clutch Pro Tour.
