Ever since Peyton and Eli Manning landed a mega-hit with ESPN’s ‘Manningcast’—a casual, cameo-laden reinvention of the typical Monday Night Football broadcast—sports across America have been searching for their own version. Now, thanks to the PGA of America, the Manning brothers’ Omaha Productions and Chad Mumm’s Pro Shop Studios, the format is coming to the 2025 Ryder Cup.
Described as “College GameDay meets Manningcast,” T-Mobile Breakfast at Bethpage will give Ryder Cup viewers an “alternative pregame show” airing live from the first tee at Bethpage Black each morning of the Ryder Cup. SNL’s Colin Jost—notable for his stints anchoring the Weekend Update desk and hosting Pop-Culture Jeopardy!—will host the show, but he won’t be alone. Like ESPN’s ‘Manningcast,’ Jost will be joined by a rotating cast of both on-site and remote guests, including celebrities, athletes and even non-playing PGA Tour pros.
The difference, of course, will be the raucous atmosphere that only the first tee at the Ryder Cup can provide. Jost and guests will be posted up in the grandstand above the first tee, experiencing all the roars, chants and jeers as they happen. As far as settings go, that sure beats Eli Manning’s basement (who coincidentally enough, stars in the Breakfast at Bethpage teaser alongside Jost).

“There is nothing in sports like the first tee at a Ryder Cup, and T-Mobile Breakfast at Bethpage will showcase that excitement in a whole new way this September,” said Jeff Price, PGA of America Chief Commercial and Philanthropy Officer. “Together with Omaha Productions and T-Mobile, this show will capture the essence of the first tee each day and provide viewers with unprecedented access to golf’s greatest team event.”
More details, including guests and broadcast schedules, will be announced as the Ryder Cup approaches, but if you’re a cord-cutter, fear not. Breakfast at Bethpage is set to air on the Ryder Cup mobile app, YouTube channel and website, as well as every golf fan’s favourite streaming service, Peacock, beginning September 26th. Now let’s just hope the U.S. Team brings home the bacon …
