With less than two weeks to go, excitement is ramping up for the inaugural Cedars Golf Championship taking place from April 1 to 3, 2025, at Al Zorah Golf Club and Yacht Club in Ajman.

Organised by the Lebanese Golf Federation in collaboration with the Emirates Golf Federation, the tournament is set to be a key event on the recently announced Arab Golf Series.

Sanctioned by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), the championship will attract top amateur players across multiple divisions, including Men, Women, U18 Juniors, and Stableford categories. Notably, the winner of the Men’s overall category will earn a spot on the 2025 HotelPlanner Tour, in one of their upcoming tournaments in the UAE.

This tournament serves as the second event of the Arab Golf Series, following the Qatar Open which was won by Qatar’s Saleh Al-Kaabi. The series aims to enhance competitive opportunities for Arab golfers and support their progression in the global rankings.

Tournament Format and Schedule

The event will be played in the following format:

  • 54-hole Stroke Play
  • 18-hole Stableford (final round)
  • Two Tee Start, with tee times from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Key Dates

  • Registration Deadline: Thursday, March 27, 2025
  • Final Draw Announcement: Saturday, March 30, 2025
  • Practice Rounds: Monday, March 31, 2025
