The second round of the Golf Sixes League, Abu Dhabi took place at the Abu Dhabi City Golf Club earlier this week. Novice juniors from golf clubs across Abu Dhabi were joined by those from the Emirates Golf Federation for an afternoon of fun competition.

The 2024 pilot season is a collaboration between The R&A and the Emirates Golf Federation, which fields a team in the League alongside those from Yas Links Golf Club, Yas Acres Golf Club, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, Abu Dhabi City Golf Club, Abu Dhabi Golf Club and the Al Ain Equestrian Shooting and Golf Club. Which introduces young people to golf in a fun and inclusive environment, along with an added competitive element.

Playing across just six short holes, seven teams of six, paired up at Abu Dhabi City Golf Club to compete in a two-ball Texas Scramble stroke play format. The best two scores of the team’s three pairs count towards their overall score in which the host club, Abu Dhabi City Golf Club, emerged as the winners.
