We’ve reached another stretch where the best players in the game will be competing in back-to-back weeks. Up first, the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow, another signature event on the PGA Tour.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is not competing as we waits for the birth of his first child. Hideki Matsuyama withdrew on Thursday because of a back injury. Ludvig Aberg withdrew earlier in the week. The rest of the 68-player field, with no cut, is playing for $20 million with the winner taking home $3.6 million for his victory.

Last year Wyndham Clark won the event. He captured the AT&T Pebble-Beach Pro-Am earlier this year and is looking to become the first player to win here in consecutive years. Rory McIlroy has won the Wells Fargo three times and Max Homa has won twice, the only multiple winners of the event.

There will be no rest after this week on a difficult course. Next week is the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville.

Here is the purse breakdown for each player this week. Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.
