The HotelPlanner Tour touched down in France for the first of a two-week swing in the country, starting with with the 18th edition of the Blot Play9, from 19–22 June.
Event 14 of 29 on the 2025 Road to Mallorca saw a welcome return to Golf Bluegreen de Pléneuf Val André, which has hosted every single edition of the tournament on the HotelPlanner Tour.
Four winners from the 2025 season were teeing it up at Golf Bluegreen de Pléneuf Val André: last week’s winner, Palmer Jackson; Rocco Repetto Taylor; Clément Charmasson; and Jamie Rutherford—all vying for a share of the increased prize fund of €300,000.
Included in the field were three past winners of the event: Eddie Pepperell (2012), Alfie Plant (2022), and Stuart Manley (2023).
Last year’s winner, John Parry, went on to graduate from the HotelPlanner Tour last year and is now sitting 4th on the 2025 Race To Dubai Rankings.
Golf Bluegreen de Pléneuf Val André is widely regarded as one of the best and most scenic courses in Brittany, offering breathtaking views along the coastline. The course is set upon the cliffs and has a links-like style, with deep rough lining the wide fairways. The Blot Play9 has been part of the HotelPlanner Tour schedule since 2007, and Golf Bluegreen de Pléneuf Val André has consistently provided a formidable test for players—especially when the coastal winds are up.
England’s James Morrison claimed his first victory for over 10 years at this year’s Blot Play9, after a play-off victory against Ireland’s Max Kennedy.
