Here’s the prize money at the 2024 Hero World Challenge

Winning was something Scottie Scheffler did a lot of in 2024, grabbing seven PGA Tour titles and an Olympic gold medal. It seems only appropriate, then, that he would claim one more win to close out the year at this week’s Hero World Challenge.

With a bogey-free 63 in Sunday’s final round at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas, Scheffler cruised to victory over the rest of the 20-man field invited by Tiger Woods in the no-cut event that benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation. Scheffler’s 25-under 263 total was six shots clear of runner-up Tom Kim as the 29-year-old Texan won at Albany for the second straight season.

Scheffler’s win earned him a relatively modest first-place prize money payout of $1 million from an overall purse of $5 million. But added to the $29.2 million he earned in his other PGA Tour starts, plus the $25 million for winning the season-long FedEx Cup title and another $8 million for being first in the season-long Wyndham Rewards regular season points race, and, well, Scheffler had a pretty good year in 2024.

Suffice it to say, nobody went away empty-handed from Albany, as you can see from the prize money payouts given to every golfer who competed this week.
