Golfers going on a trip with their friends can expect a wide range of reactions from their significant others. The worst-case scenario? You’re given the cold shoulder and put in the doghouse. The best case? You actually get some words of encouragement about beating your buddies before you leave.

At least, we thought that was the best case.

One girlfriend took things a giant step farther, creating a hilarious hype video for her boyfriend ahead of his first guys’ golf trip. And you’re going to want to see this one.

We have to preface this, though, by pointing out that Ali Kerns isn’t just any girlfriend. She’s a senior content producer at the PGA Tour. Which explains why this video is so spectacular. Check it out:

Wow. As if the magic of your first golf trip wasn’t enough, you get a gift like that? Lucky guy. The compilation of all that footage is one thing, but the fake newspaper articles really put it over the top.
