Jumeirah Golf Estates Member Carl Downham delivered an outstanding performance to win the OMA Emirates Dubai Golf Medal in association with Unique Properties at Emirates Golf Club.
Carl secured the Best Gross score with an impressive 69 (-3), highlighted by three birdies on the back nine at holes 11, 13, and 18 in a tournament which welcomed 54 members from Emirates Golf Club, Jumeriah Golf Estates and Dubai Creek to the Majlis Course.
Division A
Wayne Bauer won Division A with a Net 68 (-4), starting strong with three net birdies on holes 3, 5, and 8, followed by a net eagle on hole 9. Runner-up Niranj Sangal carded a Net 69 (-3), building momentum with birdies on holes 5, 8, and 9. Third place went to Vivek Chand with a Net 70 (-2), secured on a back-nine countback, including three net birdies on holes 1, 6, and 7, plus a net eagle on hole 8.
Division B
Paul Khoo dominated Division B with a Net 67 (-5), claiming the overall best net score of the day with seven net birdies. Deepak Mandody was runner-up on Net 70 (E), thanks to a net eagle on hole 10 and two net birdies on holes 11 and 18. Dennis Vermonden placed third with a Net 73 (+1), finishing strong with a net eagle on hole 10 and birdies on holes 13, 14, and 16.
Division C
Ivan Fornazaric topped Division C with a Net 73 (+1), recording five net birdies and an impressive net eagle on hole 12.
Ladies Stableford
Soo Yeon Kim won the Ladies Stableford with 36 points, finishing strongly with net birdies on holes 10, 13, 15, and 16.
Gents Stableford
Reece Malcolm from Jumeirah Golf Estates claimed victory in the Gents Stableford with 38 points, thanks to six net birdies on the front nine at holes 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
