How did you spend the holidays? Curled up on the couch watching movies, cocktail in hand? Enjoying some prime rib and a glass of wine (or three) at dinner? Stress eating cookies while your mother-in-law nitpicked the cleanliness of your silverware?

Needless to say, it’s a fraught time of year for health-conscious revellers, as the season’s celebrations and anxieties threaten to turn every day of December into a cheat day. But not for LPGA star Charley Hull, who shared her “12 Days of Christmas” workout routine this week, proving that R&R stands for “reps and recovery” for the world’s top golfers.

Safe to say Hull earned an extra slice of fruit cake with that workout. Much has been made of the World No. 10’s smoking habit this year, but despite Hull’s propensity to puff on the golf course, she clearly takes her fitness seriously. After all, a full CrossFit workout on Christmas morning isn’t for the faint of heart … literally.

We’ll see if Hull’s holiday grind pays off next year. She posted five top 10s in 2024 but failed to break through for a win. With a little luck and a little extra gym time, perhaps she’ll be lifting more than dumbbells in 2025.
