Golf Saudi Ambassador Charley Hull warned that this was coming.
“I feel like a win is just around the corner,” the care-free, 28-year-old Englishwoman said Wednesday on the eve of the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Team Series event at Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia.
Hull shot 65-67-66 on Saturday and walked away with the trophy, her first anywhere in more than two years. She ended at 18-under-par total, three clear of Nicole Broch Estrup. It’s her fourth LET victory. Hull’s last victory anywhere came in October 2022 at the LPGA’s Volunteers of America Classic.
“I’ve been knocking on the door the last couple of years, and this week it all came together and I feel good,” Hull said in Saudi Arabia.

Hull noted that her performance last week at the LPGA’s Maybank Championship in Malaysia gave her confidence to know she was going to play well this week. She shot a final-round 65 there and tied for 12th place.
In Saudi Arabia, Hull raced out with an opening 65 and followed with a steady second-round 67. On Saturday she sprinted out of the blocks with five birdies in her first seven holes and seven in her first 13 holes. She cruised from there and won by three shots. Pai Babnik was in third place, five shots back.
For the team competition, Chiara Tamburlini’s squad beat Helen Briem’s team by 10 shots.
