The Am Green IGPL Morocco Rising Stars 2026 will initiate what will be an exciting stretch of tournaments in the North African nation and will be played from 28-31 May. It will be jointly sanctioned by the Asian Development Tour (ADT) and the IGPL.

The following week the US$500,000 Bharath Classic will tee-off from 4-7 June and will be sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the IGPL. Last year during the maiden season of the exciting new Indian franchise the event was played in Ahmedabad, but the event now moves to a new home in Casablanca to optimise player movements.

The International Series Morocco will then conclude an exciting three-week swing at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam (Red Course) from 11-14 June.

“This is an exciting development for both the Asian Tour and Asian Development Tour,” said Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner & CEO, Asian Tour.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer our members three successive weeks of playing opportunities in Morocco, where golf continues to make such great progress through the leadership of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and Hassan II Golf Trophy Association.

“It is the result of our emerging relationship with the IGPL, whom we know are working hard to help grow the game in India and beyond through new initiatives. We thank IGPL for adding a new event for the ADT as well as the flexibly in rescheduling and relocating the Bharath Classic for us on the Asian Tour.”

The top two players not otherwise exempt who finish in the top 10 at the Am Green IGPL Morocco Rising Stars 2026 will earn invites to the Bharath Classic – which was won last year by Thailand’s Poosit Supupramai.

The ADT tournament will offer a prize money of the US $160,000 and builds on the Tour’s maiden visit to Morocco last year for two Morocco Rising Stars Marrakech tournaments, won by Aidric Chan and Carl Jano Corpus from the Philippines.

The announcement follows soon after The International Series and the IGPL unveiled a new collaboration that will see India’s top-ranked players from the League gain access to the Series and the LIV Golf Promotions event.

LIV Golfer plans DP World Tour return with busy Autumn schedule

Phil didn’t seem too amused by the ruse—which he admitted was his own invention—but that wasn’t enough to keep him on guard on Monday at LIV Duels Virginia, where he got got … again. Only this time it wasn’t the Allen who got him. It was own LIV colleague, Rahm, who lifted the trick play right out of the Bills QB’s playbook. Check it out.

In the immortal words of Dubya, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice … you can’t get fooled again.

In Phil’s defence, he smelled something fishy much faster this time around and immediately identified Rahm as the culprit. Rahm initially played coy, saying, “Like I’m the only who plays meters here? We have three Europeans!” When Horvat found his rangefinder was also in meters, however, Rahm couldn’t hold it in any longer, doubling over in laughter.

Needless to say, if you’re looking for something a little fresher than the old fake-snake trick to pull on your buddies this summer, give this one a try—especially if they’re an old head like Phil and find adjusting their rangefinder as daunting as hacking the Pentagon. But stay vigilant out there. Practical jokes cut both ways, and it’s best to assume to you’re not the only one in your group that has seen this clip.

Screen achieved 3 LET Top 10s in 2024 including a season-ending T10 at the Andalucian Open to finish 58th on the Order of Merit. She was also the runner-up at the LET Access Series Rose Ladies Open. Screen has now claimed her maiden victory on the Rose Ladies Series, continuing a strong start to her 2025 season.

Curtis Knipes continues to battle it out on the Clutch Pro Tour and the HotelPlanner Tour with consistent performances throughout the year.

The St Andrews Links, the organisation that manages and controls tee times at The Old Course, today announced that 179 tee times between May and October will be available for a discount of nearly 90 percent.

However, there’s a catch. Of course, there’s a catch.

The initiative, known as “The Drive” is designed to promote participation and widen access to The Old Course, as well as the three other courses in St Andrews: The Castle, The Jubilee and The Eden. The ballot for tee times, however, is only open to golfers who are residents in Scotland.

While international visitors will continue to apply for tee times at The Old Course in the ballot and pay the full green fee, 716 Scottish golfers will benefit from “The Drive” in 2025.

“As the Home of Golf, St Andrews Links Trust takes its responsibility to the sport incredibly seriously. That is why we are so excited to launch a new initiative offering golfers across Scotland the opportunity to play our historic and iconic courses at a lower price,” said Neil Coulson, chief executive of St Andrews Links Trust.

“Widening access to golf is a key objective for us, and over the coming years we hope we can continue to provide opportunities to golfers of all ages and abilities.”

The first stage of “The Drive” will begin on May 21, with 11 tee times at The Old Course being assigned to Scottish residents who applied through the website. Players can sign up as a solo or with one other golfer.

The St Andrews Links will also hold “themed days” throughout the summer as part of the new initiative, with days and tee times targeted to those working in the armed forces and frontline emergency services, as well as volunteers and disabled golfers.

There will also be family tee times available, where Scots can register up to four players for a tee time, with at least one of the group being under 18 years old.

“Golf has become increasingly popular in recent years and with this demand for our courses has surged to unprecedented levels,” said Coulson. “We will continue to ensure that our ticket holders and visitors have the best experience possible, while ensuring that one of the country’s most precious golfing assets is available for the public, too.”

“I’ve got nothing. Everybody else seems to know more than I do,” Koepka said Wednesday during a press conference ahead of this week’s LIV Golf League event in Singapore, responding to speculation that surfaced two weeks ago by former Masters champion Fred Couples, a close confidant.

“I talk to Brooks Koepka all the time. I love Brooks Koepka, and I’m not going to say anything extra except I talked to him all the time,” Couples said in a radio interview on KJR 93.3 FM in Seattle before adding a bit more that started speculation about Koepka’s status on LIV Golf. “He wants to come back. I will say that I believe he really wants to come back and play the tour.”

Koepka, a five-time winner on LIV after joining in 2022, did seem to leave the door open to the possibility of rejoining the tour, where the 34-year-old has nine career victories, including five major championships. The PGA Tour and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, which backs LIV, are in continued negotiations about an arrangement that could reunify the pro game, but no deal is imminent.

“I don’t know where I’m going, so I don’t know how everybody else does,” Koepka said. “Right now I’m just focused on how do I play better? How do I play better in the majors, how does this team win? And then we’ll figure out next year and how to play better again. It’s the same thing. It’s just a revolving cycle.

“Yeah, Fred texted me after, I guess, the comments came out,” he continued. “I don’t know when it was. Sometime last week. Yeah, everybody seems to have their own opinion, and no one asks me. I talk to Fred quite a bit, but we don’t go too much into detail about what’s going on. Like I’ve said before, I’m not in those rooms. I’ve got a contract obligation out here to fulfill, and then we’ll see what happens.”

It’s unclear if Koepka’s contract with LIV Golf runs through 2025 or beyond.

Koepka’s comments were more circumspect than those of reigning U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, who last week denied rumors that he sought a return to the PGA Tour and expressed his continued support of LIV.

“I’m very excited about the future of LIV Golf,” DeChambeau said at LIV Golf Hong Kong. “I’m very excited to be the captain of the Crushers and continue our legacy that we’re starting to create. That’s my goal is to create this lasting legacy where we impact millions and millions of golfers’ lives around the world. That should tell you everything you should know.”
