Twins in sports have confounded fans for decades. Tiki and Ronde Barber. Daniel and Henrik Sedin. Doubles tennis legends Bob and Mike Bryan. At least Robin and Brook Lopez were kind enough to rock distinctly different hairdos throughout their careers.
On Monday at the BMW PGA Championship, Justin Rose and Billy Horschel found themselves wishing Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard would do the same when they went to congratulate Rasmus for his Irish Open victory … only to discover it was his brother Nicolai.
Looks like @BillyHo_Golf and @JustinRose99 need to do their research on identifying the Højgaard twins… 😅#BMWPGA | #RolexSeries pic.twitter.com/031TTwi8c3

According to Horschel, it was his bad intel that put Rose in the awkward situation. Horschel told Rose that the Hojgaard brother sitting nearby was Rasmus because Rasmus has long hair and Nicolai has short hair. Rose went up to congratulate “Rasmus” only to find out Nicolai was overdue for haircut. Whoops.
Everybody enjoyed a laugh about the mistake, but Horschel did have an idea to ensure this never happens again.
“I was telling your brother,” Horschel explained to Rasmus (we think). “He needs to shave his head.”
